University of Free State Drama Department

On 12 February, I started a 3-month residency at the University of Free State, Bloemfontein, to write a new play, The Good White, which will premiere at the Vrystaat Festival in early July this year.  I am based within the Drama Department at UFS, where my responsibilities include giving four lectures on arts management that relates to theatre making.  My first lecture was on cultural policy on Thursday 15 Feb and on Friday, the lecture covered budgeting and the Charter of Rights for South African artists.
