Two Solos and a Quartet

To coincide with the premiere of THE GOOD WHITE, I will host two solo works at the Avalon Theatre (the former Fugard Theatre) from 28 April to 3 May.

The Market Theatre and Die Suidoosterfees, with support from the National Afrikaans Theatre Initiative, will produce and premiere my four-person play, The Good White at 16:30 on Thursday 1 May (Workers' Day) with a second performance the next day at 17.00 at Artscape.

I will stage two solo works during the course of that week at the Avalon Theatre, the upstairs space at the Homecoming Centre of the District Six Museum, from Monday 28 April (a public holiday - Freedom Day) to Saturday 3 May.

One of the shows - I Can Buy Myself Flowers performed by Erika Breytenbach - is currently in production while the second show, So Over The Rainbow, a multi-sketch satirical piece in the vein of My Fellow South Africans performed by Rondo Mpiti-Spies from Bloemfontein, will have its premiere outing during this week.

The times alternate each day, should patrons have seen 'Flowers' before, but it would be best to see them as a double bill. Tickets for all three shows may be purchased through https://webtickets.co.za
