The Good White staged reading
An extract of The Good White was done as a staged reading at the launch of the programme of the Vrystaat Kunstefees
The University of Free State commissioned me to write a new play, which I did! From 10 Feb to 10 May, I was a writer-in-residence in Bloemfontein and by the end of my time, I had produced a new play, The Good White, which was due to premiere at the Vrystaat Kunstefees in early July. As part of the launch, excerpts of the play were read by three actors based in Bloemfontein. Subsequently, the Festival informed me that there was no budget to produce the play...at least I have a script!
