So Over the Rainbow wins an Ovation Award

Standard Bank Ovation Awards are given out daily to creative work on the Fringe of the National Arts Festival.  This year, So Over the Rainbow starring Rondo Mpiti-Spies, under the direction of Dion van Niekerk, was one of the winners of an Ovation Award.  This follows similar satirical solo reviews winning Ovations such as My Fellow South Africans with Kim Blance Adonis (2024, winner of a Bronze Ovation Award) and State Fracture featuring Daniel Mpilo Richards which won an Ovation Award a few years earlier in pre-COVID times.
