Readings of new work

STAND Foundation Board member Jean Meiring hosted an event at his home in Johannesburg to help STAND recruit subscribers and patrons.  I introduced STAND to the more than 120 people gathered there.  As entertainment for the evening, Nhlanhla Shabangu and Khutjo Green read excerpts from my two recent works, The New Abnormal and Country Duty respectively.  There was a generous response from the audience both to STAND with subscribers and patrons signed up as a result, and to the readings!
