Reading of Samaritan

Dr Katlego Chale, lecturer in the English Department at the University of the Western Cape and an acclaimed actor, read my script, Samaritan, at a gathering of subscribers to MVG Productions on Monday 26 October in Artscape's Resource Centre.  Based on the biblical parable where many walk by without helping someone who is robbed, beaten and left for dead, Samaritan is a poetic piece in which Gaza is the equivalent of the person who is severely assaulted with many turning a blind eye and some even participating in the ongoing assault.
