Prof Pat Parker chats to subscribers

One of the benefits of subscribing to MVG Productions is the regular monthly conversation I have with an interesting person related to the arts.  Dr Patricia Parker, Director of the Institute for Arts and Humanities at the University of North Carolina, is in Cape Town on sabbatical.  After I was introduced to her, I thought it would be great if subscribers could meet her, hear about her work and engage with her about what is happening in the USA right now.  In the seminar-type setting on Monday 23 February, Dr Parker shared generously and attendees were most impressed by this remarkable woman, the first African American to head up the Institute for Arts and Humanities!
