Pop Up Societas Theatre plays host to two MVG plays

The pop-up Societas Theatre in the NGK Hall in Kloof Street, was the venue for a 3-week run of TO LIFE, WITH LOVE from 8-30 August after which it played host to I CAN BUY MYSELF FLOWERS from 24-27 September.  It will take a while for the venue to establish itself as a regular theatre venue but people who attended the shows enjoyed the vibrancy of the area, the safe parking and even the venue itself.  Church infrastructure could be key to sustainable theatre livelihoods!
