Play about people who once lived on the streets

My partner, Jesse Laitinen, started Streetscapes, an NGO that helps people who live on the streets to change their lives and to be rehabilitated into society.  After Streetscapes peers witnessed He Had It Coming, my multi-sketch piece on theme of gender-based violence, I was invited to facilitate a play in which three peers would share their stories.  Thus was Humans of the Streets born, featuring the stories of Staysher Julies, Cyprian Manqola and Jonathan Manuel.  On 2 April, the team did a reading of the script for their colleagues at Streetscapes.
