Pet-Friendly first Reading
New script gets an airing
On 11 December in an apartment in Gardens, Brent Palmer read my new script, Pet-Friendly, a piece of 'stand-up commentary' in which pets are both the source of humorous commentary as well as metaphors for broader social commentary. An invited audience of 20 people gave useful feedback which has helped further to develop the script which is being rehearsed with Marty Kintu, an actor who performed a previous piece of stand-up commentary of mine, The New Abnormal, about the post-COVID era. The first public performances of this piece will take place at the Drama Factory at the end of February.
