New STAND Foundation Coordinator

During the pandemic, a few friends and I launched the Sustaining Theatre and Dance (STAND) Foundation to provide some form of support to those whose livelihoods had been devastated by COVID.  I served both on the Board and as the Coordinator from its inception on 1 September 2020.  I had stepped down in August 2022, but the person who replaced me resigned after a few weeks.  I returned from a residency in Berlin in December and committed to helping to rebuild the Foundation for six months, after which I would step down as coordinator and from the Board by the end of August.  I was delighted that we were able to recruit a replacement in Ntombi Nkuna and I no longer serve on the boards of either STAND or the Denis Goldberg House of Hope, freeing me to concentrate on my creative writing and building an economy around it.
