My Fellow South Africans wins at the Independent Theatre Awards

On 10 February, My Fellow South Africans won Kim the Best Solo Show award and I earned the Best New Script award at the Independent Theatre Awards in Tembisa, Gauteng.  The awards were initiated by the TX Theatre in Tembisa, to recognise independent theatre that takes place outside of the formal Gauteng theatres and is often overlooked by the Naledi Theatre award judges.  We performed My Fellow South Africans at the TX Theatre on 27 November.  Earlier that same day, we presented the show at a workshop of the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment.
