Medea reading and conversation

Leo Kershaw, an academic based in the UK, did his doctoral thesis on the number of ways in which Medea has been interpreted and staged in South Africa (at least 55 different versions!).  Part of his study included my interpretation, Heartbreak Medea, which was part of a trilogy of plays dealing with the theme of HIV/AIDS.  On 29 September, we did a reading of the play and then had a discussion with Dr Kershaw who was in town to do additional research as he prepares to publish his thesis as a book.
