Karoo Art Hotel to host two solo 'fest' weekends
May and August set for two sets of solo plays in Barrydale
On 19 January, I met with the owners of the Karoo Art Hotel in Barrydale to discuss the possibility of performing some of my work in this beautiful little town. We have agreed on two weekends - in May and August - where two different plays (for a total of four) will be performed. My Fellow South Africans will be performed on Friday 15 May followed by a conversation with Stephen McGown on Saturday afternoon, 16 May, and then a performance of Pet-Friendly that evening. August will host To Life, With Love and Six Years with Al Qaeda, the dramatised version of Stephen McGown's capture.
