One of the benefits for Subscribers to MVG Productions are monthly conversations that I host with interesting people.  On Thursday 27 November, I chatted with Stephen McGown whose book - Six Years with Al Qaeda - tells the fascinating story of his capture, and of his experiences held for ransom in the Sahara Desert for close to six years.  I am in the process of adapting his story into a solo show that will be performed by Ashley Dowds, and which is provisionally set to reach the stage in May 2026.
