Fundraiser for MVG Productions

On 22 and 23 June, the Avalon Theatre - the new name for the upstairs space at the former Fugard Theatre - hosted a fundraiser in aid of productions to be featured in the proposed festival of one-person plays by Mike.  Daniel Mpilo Richards and Tankiso Mamabolo - friends from their student days at UCT and excellent actors and musicians - played original songs and engaged in highly entertaining banter.  The audience on both nights enjoyed both the show and the opportunity to be back in a theatre space that had made a huge impact on the city in its all-too-brief time.
