Former Artistic Director of the Fugard Theatre comes to Berlin

With the untimely closure of the Fugard Theatre, its Artistic Director - responsible for many of the excellent productions that we experienced there - Greg Karvellas and his partner, Georgina Lahusen, decided to emigrate to Germany and to establish themselves in Berlin in particular.  The day after they arrived, we attended an event at the French Embassy in Berlin, where I was able to introduce them to a great friend of South African theatre, Dr Wolfgang Schneider, former president of ASSITEJ International.
