Festival Academy comes to South Africa

My first Academy for Young Festival Managers as the facilitator of the Programme.

The first Atelier for Young Festival Managers – a project of the European Festivals Association – took place in Africa for the first time at the Market Theatre, who co-hosted the event along with the Wits School of Arts.  Eighteen of the 25 participants were from the continent.  This was also the first time that I was responsible for devising and facilitating the programme of the Atelier.
