European circus and public art group visits South Africa

Coordination of Circostrada's fact-finding visit to Joburg, Mpumalanga and Cape Town

In May last year, I participated in a workshop in Tunisia on cultural mobility.  It was there that I met someone from Circostrada, a European network of people engaged in circus and  public art.  He invited me to coordinate a forthcoming trip of theirs to South Africa to establish links between practitioners in both countries.  I had the privilege of meeting the group who hailed from the UK, Portugal, Germany and France and arranged their itinerary between three centres.  By all accounts, they had a great time!
