Daniel Richards wins at Naledi Awards
Land Acts and Another One's Bread nominated in the Best New South African Script category
Daniel Mpilo Richards - directed by Rob van Vuuren - won the highly competitive Naledi Theatre Awards category for his performance in Land Acts in the "Best Performance in a Solo Production" at the 15th Naledi Awards, hosted at the Joburg Theatre on Monday 20 May. With Daniel currently studying in London, his mother, Carol Richards accepted the award on his behalf. Both Land Acts and Another One's Bread were nominated in the Best New South African Script category which was won by Palesa Mazamisa, for her play Shoes and Coups.
