Cultural Diplomacy lecture with University of Panama

With a seven-hour difference, the universities of Pretoria and Panama are engaged in a series of online webinars to facilitate a relationship between the institutions.  I was invited to do a lecture on the topic of cultural diplomacy.  With a translator and more than 70 people in attendance from both sides of the ocean, I spoke about my favourite subject: the two key faultlines in the world - inequality and culture - as the backdrop for cultural diplomacy i.e. soft power projects rooted in cultural collaborations.
