Country Duty Reading
Kalk Bay Theatre played host to a reading of COUNTRY DUTY
Motlatji Mjamba, directed by Chuma Sopotela, read the full script of my new play about a whistleblower, COUNTRY DUTY, at the Kalk Bay Theatre on Sunday 30 January. The audience comprised mainly subscribers to the STAND Foundation with readings of new work being one of their subscription benefits. It was a useful exercise for me as the writer and I am already reworking the script, having seen how it might work and also because of the constructive feedback from the audience, and not least from Motlatji and Chuma!
