Centre for Creative Arts hosts ARTFLUENCE
Artfluence focuses on the relationship between human rights and the arts
The Centre for Creative Arts at the University of KwaZulu Natal hosted the annual Artfluence event from 3-7 May. Festival managers from around the continent were invited to participate and over the five intense days of discussion and site visits, a network developed among festival managers. I was invited to facilitate the event which felt very much like an Atelier for Festival Managers, and Kim was invited to do open the event with a performance on the first night. Artfluence included discussions during the day and cultural events at night, while always encouraging networking between the participants.
