Replacement resigns, and I've been asked to coordinate STAND for the first six months of 2023

After 3,5 months in Berlin, I attended my first meeting as Board member of the Sustaining Theatre and Dance (STAND) Foundation on Tuesday 24 January.  Tammy Ballantyne who had replaced me before I left to take up the fellowship in Germany, resigned at the end of October.  As a holding exercise, I've been tasked with running STAND Foundation - particularly the projects related to the Western Cape Community Arts Centres Development Programme for which STAND is the implementing agency.  The programme is funded by the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture and this being a much-neglected sector, focusing energy and time on the community arts sector is morally overdue!
