Atelier on Digital Technology

The last time I travelled internationally was in January 2020 to facilitate an Atelier for Young Festival Managers in Antwerp.  The theme of the Atelier was digital technology and its use within and across festival making.  Little did we know then that this would become the primary way in which festivals transformed themselves during the COVID-19 pandemic.  A follow up Atelier on the theme was held online from 27-30 April, which I again helped to programme and facilitate.  25 participants from more than 15 countries around the globe participated in the event that included plenaries, working groups, one-on-one mentoring and even a cultural programme in the evening!
