First in-person Atelier for Festival Managers in two years

The Festival Academy hosts 2-3 Ateliers for Festival Managers per year, but since COVID-19, there has not been an in-person Atelier since January 2020.  There were numerous online Ateliers focusing on particular themes and a hybrid Atelier in Dusseldorf which I co-facilitated from Cape Town (!!).  The first in-person Atelier to be held took place in Kampala in association with the Bayimba Festival, an Atelier that has been on the cards for more than five years.  From 20-26 March, 25 participants from mainly African countries participated in a stimulating programme hosted at the French Institute in Kampala.
