Atelier for Solidarity

Having facilitated 6 physical Festival Ateliers before, COVID-19 presented me with a new challenge: to help programme and facilitate an online academy over 7 days for 51 participants across multiple time zones!  The Academy for Solidarity was a huge success though with many connecting across the globe and being stimulated by a range of excellent speakers.  From 14-21 June, participants attended plenary discussions, participated in working groups and were part of roundtables on a range of themes related to the challenges of festival-making in COVID-19 conditions.
