Atelier Elefsina, Greece!

Elefsina, one of the three European Cultural Capitals for 2023, hosted an Academy for Festival Manager.

I have been helping to devise the programme for and facilitate the Academy for Festival Managers since my first one in Johannesburg 2018!  This, my eleventh in-person Atelier, was held in Elefsina, in hot Greece, a welcome escape from Cape Town's winter.  It was another stimulating event with 28 participants from 20 countries, including at least 6 participants from different African countries.  It makes a huge difference to the conversations to have a diversity of voices in the room!
